5.1 Infrastructure

The town gets 24 hours electric supply from the national grid, and has fixed telephone lines, internet service, and postal services. The main water supply source of the town is ground water. The town has open ditches to discharge storm water.

5.2 Housing

Houses in the town are mainly built of mud and Hollow Concrete Block.  Eucalyptus tree and sand are widely available construction materials in the town.

5.3 Transport

There is daily inter-urban transport service to and from different towns with 24 mini buses. There are 112 Bajaj taxis and 170 horse drown carts giving intra-urban transport service.
