8.      It plans, coordinates and implements the visiting of the Office’s work environment, achievements and performances of projects by the office leadership, senior government officials, various members of the community, and  journalists;

9.      It plans and, when the permission is granted by the concerned bodies, holds various training sessions that will help for the creation of public relation staff with the necessary professional competence and ethics and   expand and develop the profession of public relation;

10.  It plans, produces and makes them broadcast radio and TV productions that will enable to publicize the Office’s polices, strategies, plans ,programmes and projects and that will help to have a national consensus and build image;

11.  It performs the Office’s photographing, audio/ videotaping and printing activities. When needed, it designs the logo of the Office;

12.  It provides the necessary information when authorized foreign journalists and camera crew seek information related to the sector;

13.  It makes sure that advertisements related to the Office are up-to the standard, dictated by the rule and regulation,  and with messages that are clear and accurate to the public;

14.  It works with pertinent bodies to disseminate information and normalize the situation when an unanticipated incident (crisis) occurs in the Office;

15.  By working with the relevant section to the issue, it analyses and circulates good practices from one region to the other; and

16.  It prepares the report of the plan and budget as well as the performance of the work process according to the timeline and presents it to the relevant body. 

3.      Duties of the Public Relations and Communication Office

·         Producing magazines,

·         Implementing the urban works educational and developmental communication strategy document,

·         Carrying out various shared forums with regions, city administrations and accountable institutions,

·         Coordinating the preparation of a talk show on the Office’s activities,

·         Getting  radio and television spots allocated,

·         Producing a newspaper ,

·         Producing news releases,

·         Compiling information for the yearly book that the Ministry of Communications produces,

·         Monitoring information from print and electronic media outlets,

·         Producing brochures,

·         Producing pamphlets,

·         Preparing messages that are conveyed at public forums,

·         Producing postcards and posters,

·         Producing calendars and agenda books,

·         Conducting public opinion polls,

·         Preparing press conferences,

·         Event creation and promotion,

·         Producing radio and TV programmes,

·         Producing documentaries,

·         Photographing and videotaping activities,

·         Website managing and designing work,

·         Holding media inquiry,

·         Conducting media tour,

·         Information desk activities
